Manchester United.

my vote goes to Manchester United.

Manchester United are playing really good football at the moment. Ronaldo is in the form of his life and Tevez and Nani turning out to be good accquisitions. Rooney is showing he is england's number one striker. And the defensive pairing of vidic and ferdinand is very solid. with such a lead at the top of the table at this stage, i dont see them slipping up.

it is sad for me to say but, liverpool will not be winning the title in the foreseeable future, not with ferguson at manutd, not with rafa at pool. rafa has made several interesting decisions, most of them turn out bad. plus, gerrard has not had the best of seasons. liverpool needs to find consistency to be able to challenge for titles. right now, i hope that the win over everton will help them finish at fourth spot.

both Chelsea and Arsenal are very close in terms of points and are still with a glimmer of hope for the title. however, i dont seee man utd slipping at such a crucial stage of the season.

therefore, my vote for the title goes to manchester united.

MANCHESTER UNITED!

MAN UNITED ALL THE WAY!

With 5 points ahead of Chelsea now and only 7 games left, HAHA it will be hard for the Red Devils to lose. Hope they will be consistent for the remaining games.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Haha, nice one vin.

Of course, even such a NEUTRAL guy like me will have to go for Manchester to retain the title this season.
Though their performances this season hasn't been fabulous at times, but they still managed to get the results when it mattered. Also, plus the red hot form of C. Ronaldo now, there are even talks that he might reach the magical mark of 40 goals this season, with only Denis Law and Ruud van Nistelrooy, the only 2 players to have done so previously.

Let's take a look at the clubs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th position, starting with Liverpool.

Liverpool
No disrespect, but their early season form cost them dearly. I just can't see them winning the title this season. Champions League qualification seemed to be more realistic for them to reach for. But seriously, I hope Everton qualifies for that final Champion League spot. HAHA.

Chelsea
With the on-going saga of players against coaches, and the installation of Grant as successor to Jose, I just don't see how they will snatch the title away from Man U's hand. Though their form had been fine recently, somehow, I think the draw against Spurs few days back just dealt a blow to their late assault on the title.

Arsenal
Man U's most serious rival for the title this season. But after a string of draws, I think that maybe, they might be indeed lacking the experience to stay at the top for long. Also, Gallas is one funny guy. Haha. I don't know why he's the captain of Arsenal. I think Toure might be a better choice.

But as the saying goes, the ball is round, so there just might be a surprise. Who knows right? After this week's Blockbuster Sunday, we might have a clearer picture of who's gonna be the Champions of EPL 2007-2008.

Of course, I will be rooting for MANCHESTER UNITED!!!

Who do you think will win the EPL this season?

Sup everyone,

I believe every one of you is a great fan of the prestigious English Premier League (EPL). With only 8 more games to go, the competition to win the league is very tight and it is very hard to predict any winner now.

Manchester United: Having a 3 points lead over arch rival, Arsenal, the Red Devils holds the best defensive record so far with Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic partnering exceptionally well this season. With the super on form Cristiano Ronaldo and the never-say-die Wayne Rooney leading the attacking force up front, will they continue their fine form to defend the title for United?

Arsenal: Adebayor may have lost his scoring touch after cutting his braids.4 consecutive draws have made the Gunners drop so many vital points. They only got 4 points out of a maximum 16. Will the comeback of Robin Van Persie help the Gunners to snatch the title away from United this season? O well, just hope Adebayor's hair can grow out as fast as possible. Perhaps short braids may help the Gunners too?

Chelsea: Tides have been up and down at the Bridge. After kissing good bye with Jose, their new manager, Avram Grant, can't seem to win the respect of his star-studded team with his weird tactics game after game. Can John Terry help to lift the team up with his great leadership? Will he continue scoring after his first goal since August 2006? With Frank Lampard and Joe Cole having a fine form at the moment, maybe they will give everyone a surprise. Who knows?

Liverpool: Things seem to have changed for the better for the Anfield club after Rafael Benitez finally seems to stop rotating his squad so frequent. With Gerrard-Torres combination, the Reds have finally found the rhythm to get things back on track. Can Torres, with 27 goals so far, help his club to keep their fourth position from local rival, Everton?

Move on

friends
the fun we had,

those days we had.
memories are all we have now.

definition of friend:
A friend is a lover, literally.
frēond, the Old English word for "friend," was simply the present participle of the verb frēon, "to love."
The Germanic root behind this verb is
*frī-, which meant "to like, love, be friendly to."

thanks for being my friends.
thanks for being part of my life.

Just For Laughs (2)

Here's another joke.

Three men are sitting (wrapped in towels) in the sauna. Suddenly there is a beeping sound.

Tim presses his forearm and the beeping stops. The others look at him questioningly.
"That's my pager, " he says. "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm."

A few minutes later a phone rings. Max lifts his palm to his ear.

When he finishes he explains, "That's my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand."

Dave, feeling decidedly low-tech, steps out of the sauna. in a few minutes he returns with a piece of toilet paper emerging from his butt.

The others raise their eyebrows.

Invoking the best poker face he can muster, he explains, "I'm getting a Fax."

Have a nice day (:

Just For Laughs!

Some jokes for everyone, from FaceBook though.

1. Restricted Fishing

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.

Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."
"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

2. Christmas Gift

A young man wanted to purchase a Christmas gift for his new sweetheart. As they had not been dating very long, after careful consideration, he decided a pair of gloves would strike the right note: romantic, but not too personal.

Accompanied by his sweetheart's younger sister, he went to Nordstrom and bought a pair of white gloves. The sister purchased a pair of panties for herself. During the wrapping, the clerk mixed up the items and the sister got the gloves and the sweetheart got the panties.

Without checking the contents, the young man sealed the package and sent it to his sweetheart with the following note:

"I chose these because I noticed that you are not in the habit of wearing any when we go out in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears short ones that are easier to remove. "These are a delicate shade, but the lady I bought them from showed me the pair she had been wearing for the past three weeks and they were hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart. "I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time, as no doubt other hands will come in contact with them before I have a chance to see you again. "When you take them off, remember to blow in them before putting them away as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing. "Just think how many times I will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for me on Friday night. All my love.

"P.S. The latest style is to wear them folded down with a little fur showing."

3. Pencil

A first grade teacher was trying to stimulate creative thinking in her pupils. She stood in front of the class with her hands behind her back and said, "I'm holding something behind my back. It's round and it fits in the palm of my hand. Who can guess what it is?"

Billy's hand went up and he asked, "Is it a baseball?"

"No, Billy," replied the teacher, "It's not a baseball. But you're thinking, and I like that."

Suzy's hand went up and she asked, "Is it an orange?"

"No, Suzy," replied the teacher, "It's not an orange. But you're thinking, and I like that."

Then Johnny spoke up: "Hey, teach, I don't know what you got in your hand, but I got something for you in my pocket. It's long and hard and pink on one end."

Shocked, the teacher cried, "Johnny, that's disgusting! You march yourself to the principals office right this instant!"

"Hey, relax," said Johnny. "I was talking about my pencil... But you're thinking, and I like that."

4. Thoughtful Employee

One day a man was waking along the beach when he tripped over a lamp. He turned around and kicked the lamp out of anger. A few seconds later, a genie popped out of the lamp, but the genie was angry that the man had kicked his lamp.

Reluctantly, the genie said, "Even though you kicked me, I still have to give you three wishes. However because of what you did, I will also give twice what you wish for to the person you hate the most: your boss."

So the man agreed and made his first wish. "I want lots of money", he said. Instantly 22 million dollars appear in the man's bank account and 44 million appeared in his boss' account.

For his second wish, the man wished for a couple of sports cars. Instantly a Lambergini, Ferrari and a Porsche appeared, but at the same time outside his boss' house appeared two of each car.

Finally the genie said, "This is your last wish, you should choose carefully."

The man thought and thought and then he finally replied, "I've always wanted to donate a kidney."

5. "Fall"

There's this old priest who got sick of all the people in his parish who kept confessing to adultery. One Sunday, in the pulpit, he said, "if I hear one more person confess to adultery, I'll quit!" Well, everyone liked him, so they came up with a code word. Someone who had committed adultery would say they had "fallen".

This seemed to satisfy the old priest and things went well, until the priest died at a ripe old age. About a week after the new priest arrived, he visited the Mayor of the town and seemed very concerned. The priest said, "you have to do something about the sidewalks in town. When people come into the confessional, they keep talking about having fallen." The Mayor started to laugh, realizing that no-one had told the new priest about the code word.

Before the mayor could explain, the priest shook an accusing finger at the mayor and said, "I don't know what you're laughing about, your own wife fell three times this week."

//

Hope these will brighten up your day ahead!

Cheers =]
